Heavenly Father, we have come to this night simply by Your incomprehensible mercy and amazing grace. We are gathered here to celebrate the ending of 2018 and the beginning of a brand new opportunity to express fully the freedom that's ours in Christ this coming year. Heavenly Father, this past year, many of us were pressured in every way, but by Your grace not crushed. Lord we were perplexed about situations and circumstances, but not left in despair. Some of us were persecuted, but that God not abandoned. Many were struck down, but not destroyed.

Heavenly Father, thank You that we have been emancipated from slavery to sin through the irrevocable covenant of eternal life sealed by the blood of Jesus Christ. We know Father, that You will not abandon us because of Your great name. Heavenly Father forgive our sin of unbelief. Forgive us of not trusting in Your limitless power to save and deliver from every enemy that rises up against Your children. For You have said that You will never leave us or forsake us...NEVER! Because of that promise Heavenly Father, we are certain that You have amazing things for us to accomplish this next year!

Father in Heaven, as we sit at the dawn of this new year, hear our cry oh LORD! Open our eyes to see Your plans for us and bring us together as one body. As Jesus Christ prayed in John 17; "May they all be one as You, Father, are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in Us, so that the world may believe You sent Me. "

So Heavenly Father, as we celebrate the end of 2018 and eagerly anticipate the brand new unstained canvas before us, deepen our love for one another and empower us to fully represent You in this world.

In the precious name of Jesus Christ...AMEN!!!

<![CDATA[“Love One Another” - 'Winning with GOD Everyday’]]>Wed, 10 Oct 2018 17:26:46 GMThttp://realmenatwar.com/real-warrior-minute/love-one-another-winning-with-god-everyday Jesus says, 'Love one another'! The command seems so simple, yet so surprisingly complicated. Did GOD, Jesus Christ, not understand what He was asking? Does He not fully grasp the difficulty of obeying this simplistic command? And if He does, how can a man carry out or achieve the expected level of obedience? Let us briefly examine the reason for the command, our ability to live it and the implications of love’s impact in GOD’s Kingdom and society.

The Reason
God the Father commands His children to “Love One Another” for a reason. Creation is the physical expression of God’s love and mankind is the highest, best aspect of what He created. By creating mankind in His image, God instilled into man’s makeup or nature an overwhelming need to be in a perfect love relationship with Himself (God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit) and expressed or seen in mankind’s perfect love relationship with each other.
“And He said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments depend the whole Law and the Prophets.” (Matthew 22:37-40)
Mankind, in a perfect state, is the physical revelation of God’s love. Sin distorted the perfection of the love relationship and man’s ability to perfectly love one another. However, man’s failure does not change God’s intended plan. The command stands – “Love one another.”

Living Love
The simplicity of the command “Love One Another,” is often mindboggling and frustrating. There are moments of glee followed by periods of bewilderment: How can I get this thing right? To start, the heart must be right: salvation, being born-again, Jesus Christ is my Savior. Next, there must be an overwhelming conviction that Christ will be my LORD over everything about my life. Then and only then will a man be able to live in and express the “Life of Love.” Jesus says, “Abide in Me, and I in you…, apart from Me, you can do nothing.” To abide in Christ is to study the word, pray the word and apply the word by the authority and power of the Holy Spirit. The strength to love is an act of a determined will to subjugate oneself to the control of God the Holy Spirit.

"Only God can perfectly love God and express Himself in perfect love through His servant to others!"

Perfect Love Implications
God’s mandate to mankind is “to be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth...” Mankind’s purpose to fill the earth and rule it under the authority of God, as His representative, was cut short by man’s disobedience or sin. Sin, which is ‘the abuse of the perfect love relationship with God,’ severed the perfect relationship between God and man. Thus, creating a yearning in man’s heart for a fulfilling perfect love relationship with God and others. God’s purpose for His creation has never changed. Therefore, He sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to restore the perfect love relationship with His creation to be what He intended. When God’s children obey His command to “Love One Another,” it unleashes the life and power of God in all its radiant glory! God desires people, believers and unbelievers, to see Him clearly and He becomes visible through man’s obedience to “love one another as He loved us”, and thus mirror the perfect love relationship. That powerful display of love stirs the laden passion in men’s heart to want to know Him and we migrate closer to the perfect love relationships we all long for. Marriages are blessed, families are blessed and interpersonal relationships are fulfilling and God is Glorified!

The LOVING GRACE of GOD extended to mankind is also visible in that face of Jesus Christ. GOD loves us sooooooooooo much that HE had His Innocent SON pay the penalty for the debt we owed. <![CDATA[God Starved Imagination]]>Mon, 25 Sep 2017 16:04:16 GMThttp://realmenatwar.com/real-warrior-minute/god-starved-imaginationIs my imagination God starved? Have I forgotten the wonderful works of GOD all around me? It's easy to lose focus on the spectacular creation of GOD, when I focus so much on what I want to "do" for GOD. Oftentimes there's too much thinking about what I would do if only I had enough money, a better marriage, obedient children and more loyal friends, as opposed to what I can do with what I have. The things that GOD wants to do through me are only limited by my imagination. GOD is the one Who works in me to "will and to do" His perfect plan. I can be a great husband, I can be a great father, I can be a great neighbor, I can be a great friend and brother, and I can have limitless strength (Isaiah 40:27-31).

Climbing the mountain of Christ-centered manhood requires one solid step at a time. The beauty of GOD's creation all around me stimulates the imagination and inspires me to live in the hope of the climb. I know that nothing is impossible for "His Life" in me! Constantly thinking about and turning my focus to what I would do if certain things were to happen, causes me to miss out on what I should do with what's happening now! GOD is doing something incredible right now and I don't want to miss it!

The world needs a R.E.A.L. Man! My family needs a R.E.A.L. Man! My church needs a R.E.A.L. Man! My neighborhood needs a R.E.A.L. Man! GOD is looking for a R.E.A.L. Man! "For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the whole earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His..." (2 Chronicles 16:9) "And I searched for a man among them who should build up the wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one." (Ezekiel 22:30)

I can imagine myself a R.E.A.L. Man (Righteous-Encouraging-Accountable-Loving).

<![CDATA[Prayer of Repentance]]>Mon, 10 Oct 2016 17:30:45 GMThttp://realmenatwar.com/real-warrior-minute/prayer-of-repentanceHeavenly Father, forgive our sin. For I and the Body of Your dear Son Jesus Christ, have sinned against You Father. We have allowed this sinful world to dictate to us, Your children, how we should think and behave in spite of the TRUTH You have given. Heavenly Father, we appear to be more dependent on this world's system than Your word. Heavenly Father, we have shamed Your name! Father, my way is not right nor is their way right, ONLY YOU ARE RIGHT FATHER. Heavenly Father, for the sake of Your Great Name, revive the hearts of Your children so that we will burn with a desire to be OBEDIENT to Your Word!!! In the precious name of Jesus Christ I pray! And all God's children said AMEN.

Closing Prayer - National Day of Prayer 2016

Heavenly Father, in closing, once again we want to acknowledge Your sovereignty over all creation. And Your name Father, is a name that is above every name and we came here this morning to praise Your precious name. May we ever be conscious of the fact that as Christians we represent Your name. As Christians we carry Your name everywhere we go and proclaim it in everything we do. May Your name forever be praised!

Heavenly Father, have mercy on Your children. We raise our voice and repent for our sin against You. Sin that has caused Your name to be profaned amongst the people of this nation. Our country is sliding down a slope of hopelessness, frantically grabbing at any small branch or rock protruding out of this merciless cliff. Father, if America is going to change its current trajectory toward full scale destruction, we recognize that as Believers, we must change. Pour Your grace out on us and stir our hearts to obey You, so that this nation will know for sure that there is a God in heaven and we are Your children. May our love for each other, as believers in Christ, be evident to all, not just with words, but with deeds?

Again, in closing, we recognize that You are sovereign and we the redeemed of Christ, must take responsibility for the spiritual condition of this nation. We know beyond a shadow of a doubt, that nothing is impossible for You. And You want believers who will fight, standing strong and courageous, defending liberty and justice for all, empowered by God the Holy Spirit. It doesn't matter who is in the White House, You are looking for men through whom You can show Yourself strong! "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD like channels of water, He turns it wherever He wants." (Proverbs 21:1)

Father, we know that You will turn the hearts of government officials, if You can find some believers who will fight for holiness. Christians who are not intimidated by the enemy, but stand strong and courageous, locked arm and arm, full of the Holy Spirit, focused on the task at hand and not distracted by false or counterfeit promises of the enemy! To this end we give You praise. In the precious name of Your Son Jesus Christ, all God’s children said Amen!

<![CDATA[The Truth Is...]]>Mon, 11 Apr 2016 18:25:13 GMThttp://realmenatwar.com/real-warrior-minute/the-truth-isPicture
People all over this country are crying out for change. The nation is sliding down a slope of hopelessness, frantically trying to grab any small branch or rock protruding out of this merciless cliff. If America is ever going to change its current trajectory of full scale destruction, its men must change. In particular, its Christian men. Not women, not children, but men! Men who have received Jesus Christ as Savior must obey Him as LORD. Jesus is our "Commander and Chief." If society is to change, Men must change! "If you love Me, you will keep My commandments." (John 14:15)

Like it or not, God has given men the responsibility of spiritual leadership in our homes, churches and communities. Christian Men, R.E.A.L. Men, were created by God to express the life of Christ to a fallen and severely broken people. Therefore, all human societies will reflect the spiritual condition of the hearts of its men and it will be seen for generations to come.

Have the minds of believers become so convoluted that we are willing to follow abrasively, abusive men? Men who claim to be Christian, yet lead us into a vortex of anger and bitterness toward one another. Men who are steadily chipping away at the fragile peace that currently exists as the United States of America. Far from being a "Christian" nation, we are fast becoming a nation of imbeciles, acquiescing to the influence of God's enemy, all the while proclaiming the "lesser of two evils." "Don't be deceived, God is not mocked..." We the people cannot depend on anyone but GodTitus 1:15-16 states, "To the pure all things are pure, but to those who are defiled and unbelieving nothing is pure; but even their mind and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but in works they deny Him, being abominable, disobedient, and disqualified for every good work."

The condition of the nation is not determined by which political faction is in power, but rather by which "spiritual" power to whom its men are submitted. We are locked in a spiritual battle, fighting for the affections of our hearts. The spiritual walls intended to protect us are in shambles and our brothers, sons, daughters, wives and homes suffer tragically because men of God will not fight. Somehow it seems Christian men have come to the conclusion that our salvation can be found in the hands of who controls the government. But, God is in control - "The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD like channels of water, He turns it wherever He wants." (Proverbs 21:1) God will turn the heart of the king, if He can find some men who will fight for holiness. R.E.A.L. Men who are not intimidated by God's enemy, but stand strong and courageous, full of the Holy Spirit, focused on the task at hand and not distracted by false or counterfeit promises of the enemy!

Jesus Christ is our only hope and the LORD GOD makes an astoundingly true promise to His children Israel, from which Christians can draw some solace. In the book of 1 Samuel, Israel cries out to God for a king, so they can be like the rest of the nations surrounding them. Although God wanted to be their King, the people rejected Him as such. So God gave them what they requested along with a promise; "If you fear the LORD and serve Him and obey His voice, and do not rebel against the commandment of the LORD, then both you and the king who reigns over you will continue following the LORD your God." (1 Samuel 12:14) And again in the New Testament, Romans 13 states in part, "Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore, whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God's minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil." God is in control. Are there any R.E.A.L. Men in the country?

Christian men, R.E.A.L. Men, not the government, must accept the responsibility to lead and protect their families, churches, neighborhoods, and nation. R.E.A.L. Men At War who fight, standing strong and courageous, defending liberty and justice for all empowered by God the Holy Spirit. It doesn't matter who is in the White House, God is looking for men through whom He can show Himself strong!

"R.E.A.L. Men are Righteous, Encouraging, Accountable, Loving followers of Jesus Christ, sold-out to living a Godly life and expanding God's influence throughout the earth. R.E.A.L. Men are motivated to being transformed daily into the likeness of Christ in everything they think, say, and do. R.E.A.L. Men are not perfect, instead they rest in the perfection that's found only in obedience to their Savior and LORD Jesus Christ. R.E.A.L. Men are roped together as brothers, fellow soldiers, helping each other transverse the daily hazards of life as they ascend the mountain of Christ-centered manhood."

The United States of America can be a R.E.A.L. Christian nation, a nation after God's heart, one R.E.A.L. Man at a time! We must remember and trust the word of God in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14. God will do it through us!

<![CDATA[A R.E.A.L. Warrior's Heart]]>Wed, 30 Oct 2013 17:03:13 GMThttp://realmenatwar.com/real-warrior-minute/a-real-warriors-heartPicture
R.E.A.L. Men At War expand the Kingdom of God! R.E.A.L. Warriors do not destroy God's plans, rather, there're doggedly determined and fiercely loyal to advancing His Kingdom. "No soldier in active service entangles himself in the affairs of everyday life, so he may please the one who enlisted him as a soldier" (2 Timothy 2:4). We are soldiers of Christ, no doubt about it and God teaches R.E.A.L. Men how to fight. He instructs us to fight for our brothers, sons, daughters, wives, homes and neighborhoods so that the Kingdom is protected and its territory advanced.
Most men do not understand the enemy they are fighting. Therefore, men often find themselves lost in adverse circumstances with no understanding of how to be free. So we struggle to get out of our situations by human effort and even though we may gain temporary relief, the freedom we seek is fleeting. God wants us to live free from the control of fleshly passions and worldly lust. But, the real question is how do we experience freedom that comes from Christ. It's not that we don't believe in Jesus, just that we do not know the secret steps of Christ-centered freedom. "Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful." (John 14:27)

God doesn't set us free to do what we want to do. He sets us free to do what's right to do!

Stay tuned for the next R.E.A.L. Warrior Minute. We'll lay out some steps to R.E.A.L. Freedom in Christ!
